Fruit Chips

We love picking. Well, I love picking, and kids seem to love copying their mum. My husband is a three meals and nothing more type of guy. I on the other hand am a mindlessly polish off a punnet of cherry tomatoes while getting dinner, or an eating the bag of carrots while making the salad type of girl. There are few things I enjoy more then sitting out in the sun with an excessive amount of carrots, cucumbers, green beans, and cherry tomatoes, watching the kids play happily and my husband tend to the garden! That’s a good life!! Let’s throw a book in there too.
While I am soaking up these gorgeous spring days our fruit chips can be happily drying away in the oven. Perfect. Here is how we do it.

 Fruit Chips

Your fruit of choice!

I used apples, bananas and strawberries, delicious!

Preheat your oven to 100 degrees Celsius or 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Line an oven tray with baking paper.

Thinly slice your fruit.

Place your fruit onto your oven tray and drizzle lightly with lemon juice.

Place in the oven and leave for three to four hours, the time will depend on the thickness of your fruit.

Remove from the oven, allow to cool and enjoy!!
