Nutty Baked Pears with Chocolate Sauce
4 tablespoons of macadamia butter or roasted almond butter or a nut/seed butter of your choice
Preheat oven to moderate. Cut pears in half, remove seeds with a teaspoon. Put two pear halves together and wrap in foil, repeat. Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes or until pears are tender. Remove pears from the foil, place them cut side up on individual serving dishes, fill the hole left from removing the seeds with one tablespoon of nut butter per pear.
The Chocolate Sauce will only take a moment to prepare and is best left until nearing the end of the pear’s cooking time so that it is a runny consistency and perfect for drizzling.
